I have recently rediscovered the disunplugged podcast. I currently listen on my commute to work as a way to motivate myself to walk more in hopes of losing weight for my September trip. In addition to watching all the video podcasts from the past year (not walking of course) I have started re listening from the beginning. It is really amazing to hear all of their predictions that came true. 
I did not follow along with Jess' Trip Report but it peruse it quickly after hearing so much about it and watching her segment this past summer. I do not know exactly where she is from but something from an old podcast jumped out at me.
On the 12/19/07 Listeners Email Podcast - A 13 year old Jessica from Long Island called in. She asks about the college program. She suggested doing a segment to explore specifications, living situation, pay and stories.
As I do not know exactly where Jess is from I could be completely off base. But it just jumped out at me because not many 13 year olds would be asking about it- especially named Jessica.
Had to point out the coincidence if nothing else.
