So DS3 pretty much lives on fruit. It looks like the side choices may be okay, but not much variety. Any suggestions for places with better fruit options for meals?

It's expensive and limited everywhere I can think of. Buffets will have the best selection but I find it's still pretty weak.

At 3, I would just bring your own fruit in a small soft sided cooler. Order a drink and tip well.

There is also at least one cart in each park, like Anaheim Produce in DHS, that features fruit.

Topolino's breakfast has a fruit plate offering. Pricey ($42 adults; $27 for kids, fruit and yogurt option create your own entree with two sides, but they could probably accommodate the two sides as more fruit if you ask), but could be an option if you all are into character or table service meals. The adult fruit plate there has some decent variety (berries, citrus, apple slices, melons, and also includes yogurt and sunflower butter).

This was always my major gripe with WDW when my kids were little and lived off fruit. It is SO HARD to find fresh fruit.

We managed it by booking club level rooms. The lounges also have tons of fruit in the mornings and during the day that you can help yourself to.

Boma for breakfast has a good variety of fruit. I would make a Publix run or do some sort of instacart order and bring your own into the parks.

We're driving and staying in an offsite condo, so we'll definitely have fruit for breakfast. I hadn't thought about bringing it into the parks.

It’s pretty liberal bringing your own food to parks policy unlike some sporting events or theaters where they want you to buy their stuff.

My DD22 is a vegetarian and we would pack a PB&J in a Tupperware container for her into the parks. There were few vegetarian options nearly 20 years ago, even at TS restaurants, so we made sure she had something that she could eat. We would buy her a drink or maybe sometimes a dessert at TS restaurants that did not have a vegetarian option. She stopped eating Disney mac and cheese which also made it difficult *sigh*. We would always tip on the value of a kids meal so our server wasn't punished for my DD's eating habits.

My advice is to bring containers to hold your son's favorite fruit and don't think twice about what other people think.
