Fruit of the Month Club

Does anyone have a place they can recommend to get fruit delivered to someone each month or every couple of months? I want to get this as a Christmas gift for my Mom as she doesn't need anything like clothes or knick-knacks but would enjoy the food. I checked Harry & David and they were rediculously priced!

Im looking as well. Someone recommended Pittman & Davis to me.......however, I have spent hours looking at different places and havent come to any conclusions. I just think that 36.xx a month for roughly 5 pounds of fruit a month is rediculous. Like you tho..............I was thinking of getting it for the inlaws.

Cant wait for any suggestions..

I'm not sure who to recommend, but I know who NOT to recommend...Harry & David. Despite the beautiful pictures & exotic descriptions, their fruit is no different than what you can buy at your local grocery store & it is way more expensive.

It's not a fruit-of-the-month club, but I received a gift from Edible Arrangements once. It was beautiful & delicious!

We've always had great luck with Harry & David. The fruit was always really high quality and if there was the least little bruise or mar or what have you they always replaced it right away - no questions asked. I bought a fruit basket for my parents and one of the pears was a little bit mushy from having been frozen and they had a replacement pear the next day.
