Fructose allergy at quick service?

I know that I can ask for an allergy menu but I don't think it lists all the ingredients. I read somewhere about a book you can ask for, will they have this at all the QS?

We will also be there for food and wine and I am wondering if I can partake in that as well? As in the booths having books of ingredients. Any information would be great! I want to enjoy the food without causing too much trouble.

At each quick service location there should be a binder with food labels and ingredients for every menu item. The separate allergy menus don't list any ingredients. They list what foods are free from some of the top 8 allergens.

When we were at food and wine a few years ago they were able to radio to another chef and ask about ingredients. Enjoy your trip!

you might have to wait for chef to come with ingredient list at Food & Wine booths so take you longer with getting your order

Like others have said yes, they have books with ingredient lists at all QS locations. F&W is a little trickier as they don't have this on hand and have to call someone. We've had a few experiences where it took a particularly long time and at least one where they couldn't answer me for sure. It seemed like they had more info on foods than drinks and more info on top 8 allergens than the more obscure ones.

Food and Wine is similar to Flower and Garden with the food booths. You will have to wait for a chef to come. I didn't bother after they told me it would take 20 minutes to get a chef.

I am thinking I may just pass on most of food and wine sadly, I don't want to keep everyone waiting while I read through the ingredients list for three bites of food. At least at QS the rest of my party can be eating.

I don't want to discourage you from asking, just want you to be prepared. :) When we went for Flower & Garden, my husband got stuff from booths and then I just went ahead and got quick serve.

Yes fructose is weird and I pretty much just have to read the ingredients to know for sure because it is not just corn syrup, certain fruits and other sweeteners are no goes as well.

Side note does anyone know if they have corn syrup free ketchup?

Thank you, I understand and will see what everyone is feeling when we get there, I have been to Disney before ( pre food allergy) but my party has not so I will go with what they want. Just like to know what to expect before I get there :)

not that I have seen corn syrup free ketchup but have never really looked for it. you might want to bring with you from home

Actually in December (and July at Disneyland) there were safe ketchup packets. I used them specifically at OKW CS.

The name is weird and the packaging is maybe bright red with gold, maybe? It looks super cheap and I was shocked that it's not corn syrup and hfcs like most ketchup.

So look around.
