I thought the whole Frozen at DHS was a paid event, but then I saw that you can get a fast pass for the sing a long event...how does this work? That is a free thing included in your park ticket or do we have to pay for that? I actually got one for the last night of our stay on a fluke - it's late, 8pm, but I thought we'd stay for the fireworks afterwards.

What should I know about this? Do I even need the fast pass? I know absolutely NOTHING about this! LOL Where is it at? I just snagged it because everything is so stinking hard to get for anything Frozen so I thought I'd get it because there wasn't anything else that day we had our hearts set on.

Thanks for your always helpful comments and advice! You all seriously saved my trip last visit! :)

Thank you :)

There's 101 pages to that thread so forgive me if I annoy you veterans with previously asked questions...

If I have a FP then I don't need the ticket that is handed out in the morning? Is that right?

I think you'll be glad you have the FP+. We were there in July and FP+ wasn't an option. It was tough to get tickets to the sing-a-long. The day we were finally able to get a ticket, we went over there first thing to get tickets and managed to get them for the noon show (which I think was the first show). The theater was SRO. The main section of theater seating was full except for the side sections when we got into the theater; we sat in the back section in the center. We could see everything fine. I enjoyed it a lot. It was mostly fun seeing the little kids really getting into the songs and singing their hearts out. (Same thing happened during the fireworks.)

The first page of that thread is all you need to review. With the new FP+, my understanding is that there is a MagicBand reader for that line, so you'll do your MB (or other ticket if you don't have a MB) to the reader and that will let you in. You don't need to go get a paper ticket.

That's correct! You will not need the ticket. So the FP will save you time and guarantee you a seat.

Oh yay!! This makes me happy! Thank you for sharing! I have little Anna and Elsa fanatics so I think they are going to be so happy. :)

Do you think we'll have problems getting a spot for the fireworks? Is it like the MK fireworks where there is a show? Our fast pass for the sing a long is for 8pm...I just didn't want to make it earlier in the day because the next time was like 2pm and we want to go to another park in the am and then go back the hotel for a break.

Thank you so very much!! I'm looking over the first page now...Disney is overwhelming and I'm not super familiar with DHS so I'm studying up right now! Thank you for the help! Sooooo excited!

The fireworks were at 10:00 when we were there. I was so excited for them that I convinced my DD (who is 19) to go stand and wait with me for 30 minutes before show time. We got a good spot in the center part of the street right where they had masking taped a walk way. A lot of people came and stood right in front of us (in the walk way) and the CMs (rightly) shooed them away. They have a band playing (old Mulch Sweat and Shears; now Icemen or something like that) and they were really excellent, so I was well entertained during the wait. I am not one to wait for 30 minutes for a parade or anything else, but I heard the Frozen fireworks were great and I feared it may be the only time I'd ever get to see them, so we did a wait. Little kids might not be as patient. There is a bit of a show, but it's the fireworks and music and snow at the end that makes it magical. I think they're only doing fireworks on the weekends now, so make sure you have the right schedule.

Oh yay! That sounds lovely! I think the kids will love it. :) I don't know about a wait or not...hmmm. I did check the schedule and it looks like the park closes at 9pm...it doesn't show any EMH that day so I guess we'll have to play it by ear. I'm not super particular about having a great spot to see the show, if it's anything like the fireworks at Magic Kingdom it was amazing no matter where you were...I have a feeling they are going to be around 8:45 and I think we'll get out of the sing-a-long just a few minutes before that. Oh well, we'll see how it goes and how everyone is feeling. ;) Thank you SO much!!

Get there early, even with the FP. We got lousy seating on Tuesday just because no one without a FP even attended, and we waited until closer to show time to show up. We were at the very end of the FP line, and therefore had less than stellar seats.

Thank you for the info - good to know!
