How is the stand by line for this? Had a FP+ for 8/02 at 12:30 but just got an email that the FP+ was canceled and re-made (by Disney) for Voyage of the Little Mermaid for earlier in the day.

It's like most shows. If you get there at a reasonable time (10 minutes early) - you'll be fine.

When do the fastpass folks head in for this show? I was thinking of fastpassing it too. Sounds like if we get there only 10 minutes before time, then there is no advantage at all in fastpassing it.

For our 12:30 show the FP arrival time was 12:05--12:20.
I don't mind losing that FP but some in my party haven't seen the show so would like for them to see it.

I just got a similar email.

Anyone want to tell me the meaning of this?

There has been an unexpected change in the operating schedule of an attraction or show during your upcoming Walt Disney World® visit. Your FastPass+ selection for For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration from 11:05 AM to 12:00 PM on 06/22/2016 is no longer available.

As a replacement, a new selection was made for For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM on 06/22/2016.

I get the same experience, at a slightly earlier time, but only a 15 minute window? Explain, please?

Sounds like the Fast Pass system messed up. Or they didn't have the exact start time of the show set yet.

Shows usually have a 15 minute "window", as opposed to an hour window window that rides do.

So sounds like they just didn't know EXACTLY when they show would start when you first made the FP . .and now they do.

It is pretty ridiculous that Disney has FP selections for shows. Maybe in the big summer crowds you need to have a FP or potentially miss a show because it fills, but that hasn't been my experience.

Heh . .maybe they will just ditch FPs from shows and just sell them as dining packages :)

I received the same e-mail -- we had a 1:05-2:05 for the Sing-a-Long --- said it was no longer available and they changed it to a 1:00-1:15 ( same show)

Very weird

Same thing happened to me and it booted me out of my 2:05PM FPP and replaced with 3:00-3:15...

I think it's awful that people got up at midnight to make attraction reservations 60 days out and BAM, Disney changes things. If they wanted to change the schedule, they should have started with dates 60 days from now.

I got one, too. I bet it is a schedule change. They gave me a time that conflicted with our Sci-Fi ADR but I was able to get another one at a good time.

I got one on same day, same time, had to have it changed by phone, but she said the 12:30 was not available PERIOD, anyone have any additional information?

Looks like in most cases, the FP was originally listed with the wrong window and they just fixed it to reflect the real timing - it's not really even a reschedule. Shows usually have a FP window around 15-20 min, not a full hour. The original ones were listed as an hour, which wasn't right and they just corrected the window.

As to the PP who was actually rescheduled to a different show time, I don't know what that was about and sorry it messed up your plans!

Yes, I received 2 of these emails today and I called. I wrote about this in another post under "everything fastpass."

They told me - Disney decided to change the time of the shows line-up. I believe he said they wanted guests to line-up 30 minutes before the show instead of the current 15 minutes. Therefore, he said all the times got shifted and depending on your other scheduled FP's, you got bumped.

They are currently trying to fix mine and said they will send me an email when it's fixed. I spoke to them early this afternoon and I haven't heard back from them yet. Currently I see only 2 FP for that day and my Frozen one is completely gone. Hope they can fix this.

I changed mine to an arrival time of 12:00-12:15 and it worked, you may want to try it.

FYI, we go peak times (week before Christmas, mid-July, Spring Break...) and have always been able to walk into the Frozen Sing-A-Long 10 minutes before. IF you choose to FP it, make sure to arrive at least 20 minutes before the show starts. FP just gets you in first, not a reserved sections, and they let standby guests in at 15 minutes prior to the show start time. We usually walk in to the evening shows less than 5 minutes before start time and get close, but off-center seats on the far side of the theater.

This is NOT true for other shows! We have been turned away from Lion King 35 minutes before start time because the line was past capacity. We waited anyway, just in case, and sure enough the theater filled before our point in line. But, in our experience, Frozen has always had plenty of space.

From these posts, looks like others just had their Frozen FP rescheduled. They completely changed mine to Little Mermaid, lol.
