Dessert Party!
We have seen the fireworks several times since this version of fireworks has started. We have seen them back in the Animation Courtyard, Near 50's PTC at Echo Lake, and right up front at the rope by the speakers. But this night, it was going to be from the dessert party.
This was President's Day Weekend. We arrived around 7:30 and all the tables were taken. There were many people standing around the back of the the event area, so we went towards the front. We put our drinks on the top of a garbage can and held our plates.
The cheese and olive sabers were a flash back to the Rebel Lounge! The sour apple lemonade was the only drink I took and I loved it!
My husband's favorite was the raspberries on a saber.
DS's favorite was the Mickey Bar. We don't usually let him eat chocolate because of the caffeine.
Before the fireworks started, we took the advice of @yulilin3 in her Star Wars thread and went over to the left side of the party area and stood along the rope.
As we exited, a tab was taken off our wristband and we were given a Chewie mug!
I don't know when our next time out to a park will be. My son is in tech week for his play which opens on Friday and runs 3 weeks.
We were very happy yesterday to read of the new Star Wars experience coming to DHS. We look forward to the new stage show and Phasma's march starting on April 4!!
