Frozen Ever After this spring?

OK - I'll bite - what "advantage" does Disney get by saying Spring instead of Summer or even "sometime this year".

I decided to see what Disney is "Officially" saying - what's it says on their website. I searched all over for "Frozen" and "Norway" and the only thing I can find is the posts on the Disney Blog - which all state "coming in 2016". Nothing says Spring. OR even Summer.

The May date as I recall came out of D23 last August, but again I don't think it was "it will be ready by" more an "expected by" date. Since then it's just been the rumor mill churning different dates around

Realistically - Disney probably won't give a date until a month or so before the opening.

The advantage wouldn't have been in saying Spring, the advantage would have been in counting Spring as running till mid-June. Which would allow them to meet a self-imposed deadline. Because people on the internet go ******* when companies miss deadlines.

Funny, however, that when it's reversed, the view is very different. (i.e you miss a CC payment by a week and they are calling you for payment. You get all upset because they are giving you grief because you missed the deadline)

Maelstrom only closed 15 months ago and then they had to demolish the interior. It's not even close to "forever" and not a chance it will open in March.

Permits filed actually give them until end of the year to complete and pay for the project so in no way would I plan a trip around it.

I agree. I would NEVER plan a trip around a single (or even a couple) attractions. Certainly not at the costs most of us have to pay. I suppose it might be different If I lived within an hour away, but at over 1000 miles away, it's a totally different story.
