Our family will be in Epcot on Friday 7/24 the week that Frozen Ever After opens. I have two daughters (11,5) and they are both excited for the new ride. We will skip the meet and greet as we saw them before on a prior visit a few years ago. Also, we are staying at Yacht Club so will come in the side entrance. Unfortunately we were not able to secure FP+, so current plan is to try to enter at rope drop and book it to the stand by line. No luck on early breakfast either to get in early.

Any other suggestions for strategy to ride this attraction. Just worried we will be spending 2.5 hrs in line for an 8 minute boat ride. Also, when would you start lining up to get in at the Gateway entrance.

Thanks,

This is my plan I think.
I'm also staying at YC for the first 2 days of our trip and I think if I can get a FP for FW stuff, I'll just do rd and get to the boat ride first thing.
Honestly, how many people can get there before you if you're coming in the International Gateway? I'm hoping the answer is "not many"
At worst, I can't imagine the line being more than 60 minutes writhing 10 minutes of the park opening?

But then... Maybe I'm being naive?

Probably a long shot but keep trying to get FPs. You never know...

Isn't Norway on the opposite end of the international gateway? I have never been at the rope drop for world showcase but wouldn't all the people by test track get there first?
