I will be at EPCOT on June 20. My kids are teenagers. We live near d/l California. We used to love the Maelstrom ride. I had planned to be at EPCOT 6/20 and AK 6/21 (no park hoppers this time). Are they "testing" Frozen Ever After? Do you think there is a potential to ride it on 6/20? Or should I switch dates? No more fast pass plus for 6/21, so we are stand by regardless.

There's no way of knowing if there will be a soft opening or not. So you are taking your chances.

I think the 21st is going to be very busy over at Norway!

The thing about soft openings is that they are testing and CM training times. They maybe up for an hour and then down as they fix ride components or notice that a change in operations is needed, really almost any reason. So the only way you know for sure its operating is to walk by and see it open. So the best strategy is to walk by it several times and see what you get.
