So we assuming it is open June 6th, we have ADR at Akerhaus at 9:25 when we finish can we just go out and mill about until opening time and jump in line? What would be our best strategy to be near it when we are done? Help us please.

I was curious about this too. I cannot remember if Maelstrom opened at park opening or World Showcase opening, 11am. I know Frozen Ever After will be a very popular ride, so it makes sense to open at 9am. This would be cool, since we have a prepark opening Akershus adr during our Sept trip.
Just because the world showcase doesn't open until later does not mean that the line won't form earlier. When Anna and Elsa were there people sprinted at rope drop to get in line, for a meet and greet that didn't open for two hours!
The rumor is that both the ride and meet n greet will open at 9am. Of course nothing is official yet, but these will both be so popular I can't imagine either opening at 11am.

When the M/G was located there previously, they started with opening at 11. Things backed up so badly they moved to a 9 AM opening for them. I'd be shocked if they didn't do that from the get go here.
