Frozen Ever After: Did I make a mistake??

So excited to have scored FP for Frozen Ever After, but now I"m worried I made a mistake on timing.

We scored a 4:40 FP, but we have dining reservations for Akershus at 5:25.

Did we make a mistake? Will we be in the FP line forever or does it move quickly? I know the ride itself is only around 5 minutes.

Thanks!

You can scan in five minutes early, so take advantage of that!

But I think you should be fine - especially since your restaurant is right outside the exit of the ride. I've never waited more than 10-15 minutes for FEA with a FP+, even on days when it bad been down off and on all day.

Just to be on the safe side, you can swing by the Akershus front desk (you literally walk right past it for the FP+ line) and let them know that you have a FP+ at 4:40 for the ride and you'll be back as soon as possible for your dinner ADR. That way, they won't throw you into cancelation just on the off-chance you get stuck for 15 minutes or so past your ADR.

You should be fine, it's not a real long ride and you have 45 minutes. As Keels said, you are right at Akershus as soon as you exit.

Enjoy!

It is unusual for FP waits to be longer than 15-20 minutes at any normally-operating attraction.

Thank you! I"m so relieved! I had no idea you can scan your FP 5 minutes early!
Also, so relieved to hear they are lenient with ADR time if a FP is the reason you might be late! We will definitely stop by the restaurant prior to getting in the FP line to let them know.

Hooray!! :)

You may find the FP FAQ helpful.

You'll have plenty of time. Majority of FP line are under 5 min

Not only will you be fine, you'll have a lot of time to kill when you get off FEA.

FEA FP+ aren't as hard to get as they once were.

The only time I have seen waits longer then 20 minutes for FP are when the ride actually goes down at some point and they open it back up for FP only so they can clear the FastPasses before opening it back up to Standby. They did this to us for Toy Story Mania once where we were getting ready to get on it at our assigned time, went to it and they were saying FastPass only, we said we did have a Fast Pass and we asked how long the wait was for those with FastPasses and they said 40 minutes. We bypassed it since we had to park hop to get an ADR.

I hope you are right. I am trying to change mine from 530pm to something earlier in the day. Almost at 30 days and nothing is coming up.

I stood in line at 7DMT for something like 20-30 minutes once, but the ride was experiencing technical issues. Eventually they shut it down and handed out paper FP+ good until the end of the month for anything but PP. Otherwise, the only time I remember waiting a long time was at Star Tours. The posted time was 20 minutes for standby. It took almost that long in the FP+ line. I have seen people cut or jump from the standby line into the FP+ line other times on ST, so that may contribute to the wait. Otherwise, most FP+ lines don't take more than 5-10 minutes.

I would say if the ride is running smoothly(no break downs) and you get in line 5 minutes before your fastpass or even without getting in line 5 minutes early you should be done and out by 5:00.

We were there a couple weeks ago and it took about 25 minutes to get through the FP line. It was backed up outside quite a ways.

I think you'll be fine, and I'm usually very conservative on questions of timing!
