Frozen Ever After and Soarin

Which is better to do at rope drop Frozen Ever After or Soarin? Whichever we don't do at rope drop, we will get a fast pass for.

I'm not sure if this is better but this is what I did last week. I got a FP for FEA and at rope drop on an EMH went straight to Soarin and was able to ride it twice. Went right to TT and we did single rider and rode that twice. We finished right at 9am when the park was opening! It worked out great!

I am going to recommend a fast pass for Frozen. It breaks sooo often. If you have a fast pass and it breaks, you can get a return any time one. If you are just in line when it breaks, you are just in line.

Get a fastpass for Frozen. Soarin hasn't seen the lines that it used to once the 3rd theater opened. If you want to rope drop Soarin, it will pretty much be a walk on. If you have any interest in riding Test Track AND doing the car design, I would rope drop that attraction. That line will get longer at rope drop than Soarin will. I have rope dropped Test Track, and only waited 20 minutes for Soarin after riding that.

Another reason on getting a fastpass for Frozen is EPCOT is really large. The walk from the entrance of EPCOT to Frozen takes me 10-15 minutes. Frozen is in World Showcase. Soarin is back in Future World on the other side of the park. The walk from Frozen back to Soarin takes me another 10-15 minutes. That will be a lot of walking to do in the first hour of the park opening. I would save Frozen for a time where you know you will be in World Showcase.

It's just one data point, but last Friday, I did Frozen at rope drop (walk on.) Then I went to Test Track, right at 9 or just a couple minutes after. Standby was 40 minutes. I putzed around a bit before making it to Soarin around 9:45, wait was still just 25 minutes. HURRAH THIRD THEATRE.

It's changed my opinion on the my AM touring pattern, for sure.

I would echo others and grab a FP for Frozen Ever After and ride Sorin at rope drop or shortly after.

Same opinion as others! Even though we love love love Soarin'...we booked our FP for FEA simply because we knew if we didn't have that FP we would probably not ride it.
Our plan is to rope drop TT and then head straight to Soarin'. Our FEA FP time is in the early afternoon when we know we will be heading into World Showcase because like others have said, it is a bit of a walk to FEA and if you plan on heading back to Future World after, it's a lot of unnecessary back tracking.
