Frozen Ever After a pretty short ride?

Has anyone EVER experienced the Little Mermaid attraction without stopping at least once? It seems we always stop at least 3 freakin' times in the Under the Sea room. Is there a reason? Thanks!
Many stoppages are for guests that need extra time or assistance getting in/out of the ride vehicle.

Exactly. Most stoppages are to allow people who need to transfer from a wheelchair to the ride and cannot do so in the short time they have while the ride is operating. One of the effects of having a continously moving ride thats all

A little off topic but still Frozen related- did anyone notice that on the concept art for the Sommerhus Meet n Greet, the sisters were in the Frozen Fever green costumes?

The thing I dread most about this attraction is "THAT" song. I know there are many who don't like "It's a Small World After All" but I think I can take it much more easily than it-who-must-not-be-named.

:wave2:

That would be for me, at least sometimes.

Between the feet that don't work right, the knee that doesn't work right and the hips . . . . . well you get the idea.

Most of the time I can get right on. Sometimes, not so much.

I just wonder if Disney has anticipated the queue wait times. The old queue is WAY too short for what I anticipate as lines wrapping around and down the street.

I've wondered the same thing. There was even times that the old queue was backed up, I can't imagine what it would be like with all the Frozen fans trying to get in there.

I've presumed that the reason for eliminating the theater was to provide more indoor space for the queue. I might be wrong, but it feels like a probable explanation.

It sounds like they are trying to build interactive elements into the attraction's queue, similar to Little Mermaid.

As to the length, it seems about right for traditional dark rides.

You're lucky! We've ridden the Little Mermaid probably a dozen times since it opened and we've NEVER gotten through it without stopping at least once and hearing Sebastian's announcement. Although, I don't remember if it stopped when we rode it at DCA....
I've ridden it a bunch of times with no stops. Haunted Mansion, Spaceship Earth and Pooh, on the other hand...:rolleyes1

I guess I was thinking with the talk that eliminating the theater was making the ride longer I was assuming that area would come in to play for the queue, but you never know!

We have been discussing the same thing. When this opens the line is going to be insane.

As I understand it, the line queue is also being reinvented. ;)

Man is that still stuck in my head! We have also never gotten through a whole ride on it without a stop. In November, we were evacuated after 20 minutes of sitting there, hearing Sebastian's announcement! LOL We got FP's though, so we were able to use it later that day for Peter Pan which was nice.

I heard it will be a little longer, they took out the theater and the load and unload will be on the same platform.
Yes they added two scenes but the layout of the ride is virtually the same so the ride time will be about 30 seconds longer.
