just one of my little joys of cold weather. Made yard cleanup so easy today!!

Gosh, I thought I was the only one who enjoyed frozen dog poop! (Sorry, I couldn't figure out how to word my thoughts any other way!):crazy2:

I have this thing about having to have the poop picked up before it snows. My neighbors always know when snow is expected, because I'm out there bundled up and scooping! Just the thought of the fresh, white snow covering it up -- yuck! I have a friend who doesn't pick up all winter, I'm like what the heck......of course her dog is around 25 lbs. and mine is 95 lbs.

Mmm, poopsicles. No smell, no mess, almost freeze-dried.:teeth:

...and this time of year, there's the extra "festive" aspect if doggy snagged some tinsel off the tree ;)

Denise < --- doesn't use tinsel anymore.

Frozen dog poop is no fun. Trying to dig it out is really something. I feel your pain.

HAHA! This thread is very funny.

tricia.

How bizarre, I had that exact same thought this morning. It's fun to kick for distance.

:rotfl:
I'm dying here! I can't believe what you people talk about here!! We call them poopsicles here too! And with 4 dogs, there's a whole bunch of them! But I pay a pooper scooper to do my yard, best $30 a month I spend!:teeth: Unfortunately, they scoop on Thursday's and the last 2 have been holidays! They spent a long time here today!! :bitelip:

Thus the term..."poopsicles......

My dd just mentioned the other day that she would rather clean up the frozen stuff than the rained on stuff. From the sounds of the weather forecast, she will have quite a while to clean up "poosicles".

In theory, I would agree with the 'poopsicles' are better. However, we have a concrete based run/pen for our furbaby. ANd when it gets below freezing, well...it's stuck to that cement like 'white on rice' so to speak. Man is it hard to remove. You have to be there right after the, ah..'event' to be able to move it. It is waaaay to cold here.

Love this thread! Poopsicles are a big topic at my house! My kids especially like to watch the steam roll off the fresh poops before the freezing takes place!
I do agree that cleaning in the winter is much better than in the summer.

It is so much easier to scoop up the poopsicles. I don't even mind doing it. Of course today they freeze before they hit the ground!

Frozen poop is definately easier to pick up. Unfortunately, our dopey dog likes to then use it as a ball and play with it! We have to be very careful when he comes into the house that there is nothing in his mouth otherwise SURPRISE:rolleyes: LOL

Sorry for the visual you all have now!
