i am on the May 30th Northern European cruise on the Magic. Can anyone tell me which night the Frozen Deck Party will take place?

Thank you.

Do you have anyone in concierge on your cruise? They can ask shoreside concierge. I know the 7/22 12 night has it Tallinn night.

We are on the next cruise and from what I understand, our Frozen Party is on THURSDAY night.

Corrected!

The last night before getting off the ship? Seems a bit strange... Not doubting your information, just wondering about the decision process at DCL.

I know ours is nearer the end, on the 12 night it's Tallinn, we get an extra hour in bed that night and assume they will dress or freeze the ship when we are off in port.

Yep, that is strange and you're right. I just had my days screwed up. Frozen night is Thursday night, the same as the pirate parties.

Ah! Ok! That makes a bit more sense. Thanks for the info! I am on the 6/6 Norway cruise as well - as one can see from our tickers showing exactly the same 1 month, 1 week and 5 days! :goodvibes

Looks very cool (no pun intended), but an artist rendering is just not the same as seeing it for real.

I think it's safe to assume that the "artists" idea of what it will look like is grossly over exaggerated.
I'm sure it will look cool, but to achieve that it would take a six week drydock, not an overnight.

Hmmm, that artist picture looks more like an "atrium party" than a deck party... Considering what I have read about Bergen and rain an indoors party might make more sense for the Norwegian cruises, but this has the potential of being deadly crowded.

Oh, I think it looks similar to the overlay they put up for the Pixar Pals Party, just with "snow" instead of bunting.

It is described as a day long event, I took it as a deck party and also like Pixar nights or the Golden Mickeys there is an after party in the atrium as well.

Highlights include a spectacular deck party, a new production number in “Disney Dreams,” new character meet and greets, storybook adventures ashore and another way to cool down on Castaway Cay. I’ll share some details on these exciting offerings today, and over the next several weeks, tell you more about what you can expect in summer.

A Day of Frozen Fun, Including New Deck Party

Debuting this summer, on select Disney Magic and Disney Wonder sailings to Europe and Alaska, Disney Cruise Line guests are transported to the land of “Frozen” when the ship is transformed into a winter wonderland and a day of frozen fun culminates with an extravagant celebration with friends from the Kingdom of Arendelle. The deck party, “Freezing the Night Away with Anna, Elsa and Friends,” is a family-friendly interactive celebration featuring the famous royal sisters and their fun-loving Nordic companions.

Freezing the Night Away With Anna, Elsa and Friends
The evening extravaganza begins with a family-friendly interactive deck party featuring the royal sisters of Arendelle and their fun-loving companions. The magical freeze has made its way to the upper decks of the ship as well, with giant snowflakes and icicles.

The song-filled "snow"-case features appearances from Anna, Elsa and Kristoff along with virtual visits from Sven, Olaf and the trolls. With all sorts of fun dancing, great Frozen songs and Elsa's powerful ice magic, you won't want to miss a single thrilling—or chilling—moment.

After the show, the night concludes with more family dancing on the pool deck, followed by more polar partying in the adult nightclub with dance performances, frozen specialty drinks and more!

Really? Or is that sarcasm ;)

The whole lobby is blue, carpets and walls, lazers, oh, and about 60 people in that picture instead of 2400!
But at least it hides that UGLY chandelier!

Lighting can turn the atrium lovely blue:

And this is a picture of the Pixar Pals decorations:

They are simpler, but they are the same style with round emblems and bunting, Here it is large snowflakes and snow garlands.

Yes, the concept art will not be like the real result. But I think the real result will be close to it than you think at the moment (with the exception of the crowds).

It can on the Dream and Fantasy. They have that lobby lighting.
Not the Magic and Wonder.

That's a good point that I had not considered. I wonder what they did for the Winter Wonderland Ball on the classics then?
