Hi guys
If anyone has a frozen obsessed princess in their house you will understand my dilemma!! :scared1:
As frozen has taken over the world their is a worldwide shortage of frozen merchandise, ridiculous prices on eBay for frozen gowns, and scary mums going ballistic in shopping centres to get hold of elsa and anna gowns for their princesses!!! I have discovered an australian website that are taking pre-orders for the costumes @ $54.95 each for anna and elsa gowns, with delivery 14/7/2014. With no payment up front! I am jumping on this in preparation for trip in October!! Here is the sight: http://frozen.costumes.com.au
Hope this helps :) FYI I am watching this for the 3rd time today already lol

My gosh with two totally Frozen crazy girls I fully understand ;)

Oooooh they look great - good on you for finding them. I pre-ordered the Anna/Elsa set from Little Dress Up Shop in USA, with the exchange rate & shipping they ended up costing me $106.70 for the set. Due to arrive in July... I hope they are nice in real life...

We are going to Disneyland in September & I got all panicky that they would all be sold out still so when I saw these one's & thought bugger it. Probably jumped in to soon haha.

Hi Oz Mum frozen frenzy isn't it! I'm sure your dresses will be fine :) are you going to do the anna and elsa meet and greet in disneyland for your girls? 3 hour wait seems ridiculous I'm hoping it won't be as crazy when we go. I know anna and elsa are part of the pre-parade now that might be a better option for my frozen princess... It would be far better if they made them part of the princess fantasy faire ... Wishful thinking lol

Hope the frenzy dies down for all concerned.

Roll on Maleficent.

:scratchin Sadly, I don't think there will be the same demand for a Maleficent costume. ;)

Ahhh yes the meet & greet!!! Yep we'll do it for sure, I couldn't go all that way & not line up especially when they LOVE them so much - when I read about people running & knocking over children I just think what a joke.. Don't want to be a part of that circus but I'm hoping by September it may have settled down a little bit... We are also going to be there at the same time as my parents so hopefully with the four adults we can take the line up in shifts ;) But yes at least now with the parade we have some sort of back up incase the meet & greet is a no go.

My daughters will be 8 & 5 when we go so we have to get as much Princess magic in as we can - they are growing up way to fast. I think i'll be quite excited to meet Anna & Elsa myself haha. Watching the movie, reading the book & having the soundtrack on repeat in my car for the last few months has brainwashed me I think....

I had resigned myself to making costumes for my girls (will be 9 and 8 by October when we go), but maybe now I won't have to! I have told them we most likely won't get to do the meet and greet if it's a 3 hour wait, but I'm hoping like crazy that it's shorter by then. Thanks for the link, off to ponder what to do!

There is quite a few Facebook shops selling reasonably priced costumes. My daughter loves Frozen but hasn't expressed any desire for a costume thank goodness. More interested in the other princesses. I sounded her out about the long waits at WDW to meet Anna and Elsa (pretended I was asking for a friend - my kids don't know we are going yet) and she said, "Wow I wouldn't wait that long! I'd rather go on rides!" That's my girl :)

Thank you so much for sharing this link. My youngest DD loves Frozen and has already been asking about buying an Anna costume and going to BBB for a 'princess make over'.

My other DD, who is 9 years old, likes Frozen too, but has told me she is 'too old' for a Disney princess makeover. I am trying to change her mind. One of my favourite memories from our last Disneyworld trip is taking the girls to BBB to be transformed before going to MNSSHP.........

There's definitely a Frozen obsessed princess living in my house! Did I mention I live alone...? :rotfl:

I see that this place offers adult Elsa costumes. Hmm, not sure I'd get too many wears out of that. Now, if they had a pair of Anna boots...

And I've seen the movie three times, too :thumbsup2 It was loaded on the ipad on my last Jetstar flight, which made me so excited! It took all my strength not to sing the songs hahaha I really want to buy the bluray, but I'm holding out until they release a version with a decent set of extras.

Hope the frenzy dies down for all concerned.

Yes! Something for the brunettes :) I saw the latest Toys r Us catalogue the other day had Maleficent dolls in it.

Lol I actually have become quiet partial to frozen myself.... Ok I admit I love it!!! And I overhear my DP secretly singing do you want to build a snowman :)

FirflyFi you could definitely get away with wearing the Elsa costume at home and sing to your hearts content :)

Montanabel I'd love it if BBB would do frozen makeovers, isn't there some kind of tween makeover for your 9 year old or is that in downtown disney?

Hi Aussiefamof5
I haven't been able to confirm at this time if BBB offers Frozen makeovers; however, I am sure it is on the cards if they don't already.

When we were in Disneyland last year I took my DD9 to Studio Disney 365 at Downtown Disney and they gave her a 'pop star' makeover. They ladies did an incredible job with her hair and makeup and we also brought some clothes from there to complete her 'look'. I would love to do that again but unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be an equivalent at Disneyworld. :(
