frozen chicken question

If I thaw chicken breasts and then cook them, can I then freeze the cooked chicken breasts? I thawed them to use them but we eneded up having pizza instead so I just threw them in the crock pot. Now that they are cooked I'd love to freeze them again.

Yes, you can freeze them again since you have cooked them. You just shouldn't refreeze defrosted raw meat.

Yes, I do it all the time. I get one if those big bags of chicken breasts, thaw it and cook it. then I chop it up, divide it into separate ziploc bags, freeze then pull it out when I want to make a casserole, enchiladas, etc...
