We will be visiting in September and hadn't planned a full day at HS but my DD loves Frozen so I am just looking for honest opinions/advice from anyone who has visited this summer. Is it easy enough to get a good spot for the parade or do you really need the VIP package to get great seats/views? Are the fireworks similar to Wishes or just a small show at the end of the night with the stage performance? I read in a blog that the desert party location is not prime viewing for the fireworks-where is the best spot without anything blocking your views? Thank you in advance for any opinions/experience/advice you can share so I can decide if it is worth changing all our FP+ and ADR's to participate!!!

I haven't been but I am going in Sept. too. There is a whole thread on here with tips though. You could look through that, I know I will have to now.

Will the parade/sing along/dance party take place Monday-Thursday during September and the fireworks will be the only thing extra Friday-Sunday? I am trying to decide which day to switch to! I am assuming it will be less crowded during the weekdays and if all we are missing is the fireworks it might be worth it to have lower crowds for the parade/dance party-unless the fireworks are spectacular of course! Also wondering how much of an impact this has had on HS crowds in gerenral.....

You took these questions right out of my head!:rotfl:
I have our HS day planned for 9/26 but will gladly move it to 9/25 if it has a huge impact on the crowds and then just go back for the fireworks.

Hopefully someone can help us out with some answers! I used to love Disney trips for the planning aspect but this trip is starting to drive me nuts!!!

Everytime I think I have it all in place-bam-Disney changes something. My two choices for HS days are Monday 9/22 or Friday 9/26. My DD really wants to see the parade and everything Frozen in the park so it might be worth missing fireworks at HS and just getting our Wishes fix this trip if crowds are going to be nuts on the weekends. BUT it is a Food and Wine weekend so I am so confused right now..ahhh!!
