Frozen at DL???

There is an Anna and Elsa M&G next to Snow White/Pinocchio. Lines routinely are 2 hours long to meet them.

There is a shortage of merchandise right now, but they are expecting more in mid-March.

I thought someone posted that the Anna (and sometimes Elsa!) M&G is only until March or April, not a permanent addition. We're going in June and I know DD4 would LOVE to meet Elsa but I'm not betting on it. It does make sense to make it permanent, though!

We will be there in mid-April so I would love to get her a Olaf stuffy. She is crazy about Frozen. Knows every song and is begging me to buy it the second it comes out.

If the lines are that long we just won't be able to meet them:( Only have about three days to spend at both of the parks as it is a short road trip from my parents winter place in AZ. We will be super happy to see what we can see:) (and to be in a place that is warmer than Wisconsin!)

It's been 2-5hrs consistently at WDW/Epcot! My daughter is SO obsessed w Elsa. Idk if we will be able to get out of this even if we are only there for 2 days... Would we be in any better shape doing rope drop entrance and going right there?

AT DL now. The rope drop is no help, because they don't come out until 11 am. So people are waiting that 2-3 hours, right at 8 or 9 am, depending on the opening time that day.

It has been 2-4 hours this week. I tried to get on the line, in a moment of insanity, with DS in his wheelchair. Was told no WC in the line, to designate a family member to wait. No way for us to do that, it is just us two on this trip. So we left. I think most families are putting Dad on the line, while Mom takes the kids on some kids, or vice versa. Some parents may even switch places. If each took an hour, and kids went on rides the whole time, I guess that makes it do-able.

I have only seen Anna Mattel Barbie sized dolls, and a very few Elsas. NO plush from the movie, no pins, and no T shirts (well, no adult ones anyway). And some books, and the soundtrack CD is everywhere.

Oh that is disappointing. Is there any costumes? Particularly at Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique?

Here now- was able to buy a Frozen iPhone case with Elsa, Anna and Olaf on it!! Pretty much the only Frozen merchandise I saw last night in DTD.

BBB had the Anna coronation dress and Elsa dress but they were sold out last time I checked...

Some local SoCal disney stores just received the Anna coronation dress (disney store limited edition version) as well this week.

Why do people try to buy these things at the parks? I've rarely been able to find what I want at the parks. Why not purchase these things ahead of time? Amazon, Disney store online , etc. Or are these things only in the parks? When I went to the Disney store at the mall they had the Anna dress , were getting an Elsa dress the next week, and had other stuff.

:offtopic:I hear ya. (Although Amazon and Ebay sellers were seriously ripping people off for this stuff around Christmas. Like selling the Disney Store dress for $250-$500.:scared:) A lot of the time there are special park specific dresses that may be more accurate to the movie or better quality. So, many times ppl like to get the BBB dresses. I am on your page though. I have a Disney Store Outlet 15 mins from my house. I look for deals, shop around... (I actually found a red and white polkadot dress at Target for $8.50 and it looks just like Minnie's dress. SOLD. lol) I don't have $100+ for BBB outfits. I'm dreading having to shell out the $50 for the elsa dress for Halloween, but I know how bad she wants it. My dd4 doesn't even know of the existence of the BBB. haha She's not going until she asks. ;)

It is hard to find the Frozen Elsa stuff out here in the East Coast too. No Elsa dresses in sight. lol

Ok I didn't know the dress quality at BBB would be better than at the Disney Store. Then it makes sense why people want park stuff direct. No way I'd shell out $200 for a dress though for a small child. I'm with you on that. There's a BBB boutique on the Disney Fantasy if any one is ever in it.

Keep a eye out for sales at the Disney store. I know someone who has bought a ton of princess dresses over the years and has hardly ever paid more then $30. She said they always have sales before halloween were they are 25-40% off.

I just got back from a business trip and was looking for frozen goodies when I went to DTD in disney world and was able to snag an Elsa doll but they didn't have anything else besides the cd! I wasn't aware if the shortage lol

I doubt you could get an Elsa dress this way anytime soon - they are sold out EVERYWHERE. Littledressupshop.com will have a waiting list for the knockoff version later this year, with plans to make it available in Dec. I was able to get the Anna dress at the Disney Store for my DD2 but I will be making the Elsa dress in order to have them in time for Halloween. Disney vastly underestimated the popularity of this movie, and Elsa in particular. I even have doubts to the whole "we will have new stock in March" thing...even if they do, stuff is gonna get snatched up in a FLASH, esp with folks buying them to put them up on ebay and make a profit.

As for the meet and greet, it would be AWESOME to get to meet them, as my kids are OBSESSED but we aren't counting on it. We'll be there last week of April though, and we'll just see. We waited 1.5 hours for Rapunzel last time and it was worth it:)

Yes, Elsa and Anna are the featured "Spoiled princesses". So the sales generally exclude them. But I have gotten some awesome deals at the Disney outlet too.

I just bought DD an Anna dress from Disney Store during the 20% off sale a week ago. They didn't exclude Frozen during that. Disney Store gets in Elsa dresses periodically but they don't know what will be coming with their shipments.

I prefer the Disney Parks dresses to Disney Store dresses, because they are a little higher quality, but none of them are worth paying $100+ for on eBay.

I just sold my dd dress she wore all day at Disneyland last week, for $150 on ebay....I'm mad I didn't sell it new before she wore it, they are going for close to $250! I can't believe that people pay that kind of money...her dress is even dirty in the back, I took a ton of pictures, and I still sold it for $150.....my DD is super excited that she can save $50 to buy another one when it comes available again...and use the extra $100 to buy the new american girl doll....I just happened to be on the disneystore website and found a dress in Jan...wish I would have bought a ton to sell.... :) My girls love their dresses, but they like to make a profit too....I asked them if they wanted to wait in line (it was 4 hrs on wednesday) and they said, no way, they wanted to ride the attractions! :)
