I just saw a YouTube video with the Anna/Elsa meet and greet at Disneyland only having Anna doing the meet and greet. What are the chances of meeting both of them instead of 1 of them? I wanted to meet them both when I go in March.

We were there last week and it was both Anna and Elsa for the M&G.

It depends. We were told that Anna is always there and Elsa comes and goes. We waited about two hours to see them and Elsa left right before we got to the front of the line. :(

I received a survey after our December trip with a bunch of questions about the Frozen meet and greet and one question was, if you could only meet one of them, who would it be?

UGH-- This would be a crisis. Elsa is DD's favorite, as well as the favorite of every little girl I know around here. If we waited 2 hours only to watch Elsa walk away right before we got there, it would not be pretty. There would defiitely be tears (some of them might even be mine. :rotfl:).

How are the lines at DL? Is 2 hours the norm, or are they running longer than that? WDW it has been over 2 hours most of the day. I hear this week WDW has started the meet and greet at 9:00 a.m., instead of 11:00 a.m., to try to meet the demand better. We are going to be hitting them in a few of months at DL and I know meeting them will be at the top of DD's list, so I want to figure out what we are in for. They are where Rapunzel used to be right? I definitely remember standing out in the sun/heat in that line for Flynn and Rapunzel for over an hour and a half.

They are next to the Pinocchio ride. You will see Olaf on top of the building where the M & G is.

We were there last Tuesday and the line got up to about 2-2.5 hours. We had Magic Morning so the wife and kids got in line at 9:00. I rode Star Tours and then met up with them so she could take my daughter on rides while I waited in line.

I think the reason it takes so long is they do a great job of really talking to the kids and interacting. We had to pry my daughter away after about 5 minutes of princess talk with both Anna and Elsa but she loved it.

Elsa "comes and goes"? What the? That is utterly ridiculous. Why would Anna be the one to stay? Who cares about Anna? Seriously. Sorry, but if I'm standing in 2 hours, Elsa better darn well be there or some cm is putting a blonde wig and blue dress on, by golly.

Is Olaf anywhere to be found in DLR?

My kids don't really care about the princesses - they were just hoping there might be some sort of Olaf set up somewhere, as it might be a hard character to have someone dress as.

Thanks!

I would never wait more than 30 mins to meet either of them, so my point is moot. However, I'd prefer Anna over Elsa. I relate to her a lot more and I think Elsa really has more of a supporting role in the movie. Sure, the movie is about her and the accidental winter she caused, but Anna is on screen the most. JMO. I'm also not a 5 year old girl haha

I'd rather meet Olaf than the girls anyway ;)

Oh, I hear you, I think Olaf is the star. And I just KNEW as soon as I posted that, there'd be a handful of people that said, "not me, Anna is totally my favorite." But generally speaking, I feel fairly confident that if polled, most young girls want to be the QUEEN who has ICE power, not the princess who has no power. You know?

My DD(7) prefers Elsa because she thinks Anna isn't too smart. ;)... which gives me hopes for her when she is a teen. Elsa's ice power is just a bonus. I think most littles probably are impressed by the really pretty blue sparkly dress and the ice power though.

Snow White has never been DD's favorite either. She likes her, but I've heard her referred to as the "dumb" Princess a few times at our house. According to DD, who on earth would open the door and take an apple from a scary looking lady, after the dwarfs had warned her multiple times not to open the door to anyone and she knew someone was trying to kill her. :rotfl:

Your DD sounds very smart.

My niece saw Elsa and Anna together yesterday. The wait was 2.5 hours. Not my idea of a good time. I didn't think either princess was nearly as attractive as in the movie. :confused3

Ok I saw this and couldn't resist posting here. The first two points are very relative to the thread. The rest is funny, but a warning some of it may not be very family friendly.

I think the fact that all the Elsa dresses are impossible to find, proves your theory! ;)

:lmao::rotfl2::lmao: Absolutely Hilarious! Thanks for posting!

Thanks Seagoddess- She is a pretty smart kid- let's just hope it sticks with her when she's a teenager! I'd tell you the comments she made about Anna right after the movie, but I don't want to be a spoiler!

We went by a little after 11 today and the line was 4 hours long. Amazing! Should have gone in November when it was 2 hours.

Today is supposed to be very busy at DLR though, isn't it? Being a holiday and all - rated a 10 according to TP. Two hours has been the consistent wait time that seems to be reported outside of crazy busy weekends from what I have read on this board of late.

Mind you that is still far too long for me!
