Frozen 2 is coming

Big news from annual shareholders meeting. Frozen 2 is in the very early development stages. No story details yet, but it should be a great follow up with many confirmed to be reprising or having voiced interest in doing so.

Those rumors won't start ever. Disney doesn't do one IP based parks and why would they. Epcot is getting frozen. Tokyo is very likely is get a large frozen land in DisneySea.

Because of the way animation works, it's got to be at least 3 years off...wonder if the Frozen backlash will cycle around and be back to Frozen appreciation.

I would expect they had all the digital files ready to go. I'd imagine there are scenes, characters or other "background" work in the can. This doesn't mean it won't be 3 years. It is Disney after all.

Animated movies tend to take that long so I wouldn't be surprised with a 2018 or 19 date.

I found out it was direct to VHS. I knew it wasn't Walt Disney Animation. It's the work of Disney Toon.
