Has anyone ever brought Frontline online instead of going to a vet or petstore? It looks like there are a zillion places online to get it.

I did once. The medicine was from Australia, but I saw no problem with using it.

I have not since then because I keep forgetting to order in advance and get it from the vet when I run out.

I just placed an order earlier today for something similar to Frontline. I bought "Freedom Spot-on for Dogs" at www.valleyvet.com.

My sister just got a puppy yesterday from a rescue shelter and this is the one they recommended. The people at the shelter said they liked the Freedom one better than the other stuff out there.

My vet told us that if you order online you are not covered by the manufacturer if there are negative side effects from the product.

Yep, I've had no problems either.

My fave source is healthypets.com

It's the exact same stuff as you get at the vet's office

I get mine from 1800petmeds.com They don't charge shipping for orders over $40

My vet doesn't even carry Frontline any more. There's something better out now. K9 Advantix is what they're using. It covers fleas, ticks, and mosquitos.

Thanks for the info. I'll have to look into K9 Advantix.

Do your homework about k9 Advantix...I've read about serious side effects. I KNOW ALL meds has side effects, but since my dogs have always done fine on Frontline, I didn't want to risk switching them.

We applied K9Advantix last night. This is at least our second round (4 or 6 mos) of it. He is always "itchy" for the next day, but no other side effects that we have noticed.

Anyone know if the K9 Advantix is ok for greyhounds? We jkust got our dog a short while ago, and with Greyhounds you need to be very careful with what you put on them; the Frontline is ok, but our vet doesn't carry it any more.
