I am thinking about booking air thru Frontier Airline from LAX to MCO. It is significantly cheaper than United or Southwest. I am not familiar with the airline. I think it is a small company. Has anyone flown this airline before? Am I worrying too much about flight cancellations? Do airline companies usually accomodate if they decide to cancel flights at the last minute? I just can't stop worrying about this. :confused3

Hi,

I like to get reviews for airlines that I'm unfamiliar with.

Here's a link to some reviews on airlines (this site is notorious for negative reviews, so the fact that Frontier seems to be getting generally positive reviews, says something about them).

I have flown them. You will stop and maybe change planes in Denver, so depending on when yo are flying, you may want to rethink that one so you can avaid a snow storm. Now I do like them, but they fly the airbus. I am sorta of an airplane snob. My personal thing is "If it is not Boeing, I am not going" But all in all they are cool.

Actually, Frontier has been around a long time - this is its second incarnation - but you might feel better about flying it if I told you that given a choice, it's the only airline we'd ever fly.
Things Frontier does better: customer service, families, kids, cleanliness.
There are 5" TVs built into the back of every seat - for $5, you can have unlimited DirectTV viewing on it, including kids cartoons - or for $5 you can get one of the 'special' inflight movies - simply swipe a credit card OR pay a flight attendant to swipe for you.

Plus, Frontier has one of th best Frequent Flyer milage programs in the industry. 15k miles is a domestic roundtrip free.

Granted, Denver is their hub - but given a choice, I'd ALWAYS fly Frontier - which goes for my brother and his family as well.

Here - check their website FAQs - http://www.frontierairlines.com/frontier/faqs/passenger-travel-faqs.do
Seriously, we love Frontier.

Hi

I never heard of it as I live in Scotland, UK!! I booked AA from LAX to MCO.

I will have a look at website and

now I see on internet that it is cheaper than AA but stop over at Denvier.

We are 4 adults and 2 childrens and want to have one way straight without stop over.

My sister flies to Denver quite a bit & she loves Frontier, it is her favorite ariline. She hates flying other airlines she said Frontier has spoiled her.

It is a good airline. But you probably WILL go through Denver.
