Front of the line pass anyone know about this

Is there something you can pay for at Disneyland that gets you to the front of the line for rides? Someone at work said her daughter paid to get to the front of the lines of the rides. She didn't know what it was called and I had no idea what it was and neither did she. Anyone have any idea.

Not at Disneyland (or WDW for that matter). You can book VIP tours (I don't know the price but it's not cheap) and sometimes they can pull a few strings, but there is no special pass available for purchase. The best thing to do, obviously, is utilize FastPass for free.

She's probably just confused. I believe Sea World and Universal have FOTLP for purchase.

Just VIP tours. We just got home from a great trip but the Premium VIP was way over-priced. Even that at $275 only gets you into the fast pass lane. Book mouse expeditions. For a ridiculous cheap price he gets all of your fastpasses and saves you great spots for shows.

Sea World San Diego had a front of the line pass, so I'm pretty sure she was just confused about which park she was talking about.

WDW now has two different levels of "VIP tour". The lower one provides a private guide who knows how crowds ebb and flow, but no special access. The more expensive one gets your party instant unlimited access to all of the FASTPASS return lines.

Thanks for posting those links. As I said earlier, there are ViP experiences you can purchase, but as far as offering "front of line" passes that you can purchase online or at the gates like Six Flags or Sea World, DL doesn't have anything like that.

You can also get a universal fast pass, a fast pass that is good on any ride. Of course these are only for special circumstances.

We got some (1 or 2 per person) when we went on a Christmas Tour in the pouring rain. We were supposed to get front row seats for the Christmas Parade, but it was cancelled, so they gave us these fast passes instead.

I was nice to ride Peter Pan without waiting in line.

I think its interesting to note, that the FOL pass at USH only allows you access to the front of the line ONE time per ride. However, if you do the VIP experience, your pass for that which includes the more in-depth, smaller tour (ours was only 23 people) and allows you to walk around some of the sets, does let you go to FOL multiple times. If we weren't on a time crunch for our transportation back to the hotel, we would have ridden Jurassic Park about 80 times because it was so hot. LOL

And, even at Universal, the Express lines work a lot like Fastpass lines. Sure, you might wait a few minutes, but (except possibly RSR) not a lot longer than that.

We've rarely had to wait longer than just a few minutes. Basically, it is "unlimited" fastpass.
