Front Loading Washers

HELP!!

This seems so small in our country's time of war, but my washing machine just gave up!

Which frontloader is better.... one of the Kenmore, Whirlpool, or Maytag?

I knew this day was coming... and with two teen male athletes in the house, I need to get a plan in action quickly!

All I can say is we replaced our regular top-load Maytag washer and dryer, which we had for about 27 years, with Maytag Neptunes about 5 years ago, when they first came out. We are pleased.

Got the Maytag Neptunes last year and love them. Wonderful. Check out www.epinions.com for lots of reviews (both good and bad). The majority of the "bad" reviews seem to be geared towards the older models of Neptunes when they first came out. Apparently mold was a problem on some of the earliest models, but that's not longer a problem.

I have a Kenmore that I bought when we bought the house last year.. I LOVE it. It uses much less water and I have found that my clothes are coming out a lot cleaner (and softer) with the front loader, for whatever reason....

I bought the Kenmore HE3 set about a month ago and love them.

We've had Maytag Neptune washer and dryer for about 18 months and they have been great! The toughest part was finding the HE laundry detergent, but front-loaders are getting more popular and the detergent is easy to find now.
