From WL to GF for GF Cafe breakfast...how? Time?

How hard would it be to get from WL to GF? Also, does anyone have an idea of how long this would take? I've looked at the maps, but the maps can't answer my questions!

I want to go to the GF Cafe for breakfast one morning, but I don't want to waste more time than necessary. We want to get over to MGM as soon as possible after that.

I really want the GF eggs benedict, and I'm not too thrilled with the stories of WCC.

You could take the boat to the Contemporary then take the monorail to the GF. That is how we got to Kona for breakfast from the WL.

I would plan for an hour, from room to restaurant.

Thanks! I was thinking either to MK or to Contemporary. Maybe Contemporary is better (less busy)?

Do you know what time these things (boat and monorail) start running? Sorry for all the questions (I've never resort hopped from WL - and with a family of 5 at that!).

I wanted to do breakfast around 8

Yes, one boat goes from WL to Contemporary to Ft. Wilderness back to WL.

However, sometimes the route goes the other way...WL to Ft. Wilderness to Contemporary. Maybe someone else can let us know which way it goes in the morning.

I have done the boat to monorail route to get to the GF from the WL and if I had to do it again, I would definitely take a bus to MK & then take the boat to GF for the quickest route.

The bus ride only takes 5 minutes and they seem to come fairly quickly. Then just a walk over to the GF boat dock. Once dropped off at the GF, it is a short walk to the GF Cafe.

There is a cirect boat to the Contemporary from WL and back. Another way you could consider is a bus. When we were there in December last year the bus to DTD stopped at GF everytime we went. It was a short 5-10 minute ride at most.

Well that would be pretty awesome! I have stayed at GF and know that it seemed like we were always stopping at WL, but I'm not sure what bus that was or the order of stops, etc. I think I'm going to have to ask someone when I get there?

I'm definitely making a list of all these suggestions!
