This brings up a good point. It would be helpful if people could put their "real" first name (or whatever they like to be called) in their signatures so we can learn what to call each other. As our group starts to grow, it can be kind of hard to keep track without printing out a cheat sheet of everyones DISboard names with their real names, or checking their profile every time.

Just a suggestion.

I think it will depend on how we decide to do the FE gifts. If it's just as individuals, then it can stay on the main database as just one more category. If we do it as groups, then, although having the FE participants listed on the database will still be needed (so we know where to deliver the gifts) you (or whoever is organizing it) will need a separate list to coordinate who's going in what group. It's also fun to see that list so you can see who to credit for your awesome gifts when you get them! Does that make sense?

Already had one request to set up a group for folks coming from abroad - and she will head it - I've just forgotten who that was (I have it written down) . . . We had a request *not* to have a schedule. We had a request *to* have a schedule. If Jeff has a space for it on the web site - or a page or whatever, I think people can pretty much figure out what they're wanting to do - I'm sure not going to dictate who does what when.

I thought the sharks name was Bruce? But we can call him Alan. Alan the shark - it has a certain ring to it

I'm not going to put my name in my signature. I don't want it in every post I make. Some folks here know it though. Just read back a few posts

Well, DUH! I didn't think of that! Probably better for those who don't necessarily want their name listed on other threads. Since I only post on a couple of threads and I want those folks to know me, I didn't think about someone maybe NOT wanting their name everywhere!

Try shift-f5 and let me know if that clears up the issue. I've got no issues here with IE8.

On the ipod touch, I had no issues scrolling the images page using the two finger gesture. Just make sure you are doing it on the grey area.

The website looks great! It will be very useful as we are off on a 10 night cruise of Tahiti tomorrow, and this thread moves so fast there is no way I will be able to catch up Six pages while I slept last night.

We will be in the San Diego / Disneyland (14-17) area from Dec 9 through Dec 19th, so if any meets are set up, please let us know!

Sill not able to scroll on my iPhone. I think it is my phone. All good. I just won't be able to use the site until I am at a real computer. I also just talked to photocjr at work and the site does not scroll on his iPhone either.

I can help with the classes, too. It's been 9 years since I last taught, but can probably still do K-3 subjects. I'm just not sure "I'm smarter than a 5th grader." We watched that last night and some of the 5th grade questions were about subjects I didn't learn until the 8th grade. Boy, how times have changed.

That's so odd. I'm pulling it up with IE8, Firefox and Safari from 4 different computers on 3 different operating systems and not seeing issues anywhere.

Are you using IE6?

Yes, outnumbered, and the teen years are coming up...I do know of some survivors, though, so I'm hopeful...

Truthfully, being with my family is like living in Toontown 24/7, we are all just a bunch of crazy cartoon characters...and I am SO not kidding!
