From WDW To DL With Love - January 06, 2011

We travel with a couple of dragons - Nieceosaurus and Nephosaurus. Lately they've had to take turns travelling because with 2 small kids and all their stuff it's hard to fit them both in. But the the dragons have been known to stow away on their own...

I'm really excited to do this cruise again. Last time I didn't care one way or the other about the ports of call. I just wanted to relax on the ship and experience the canal crossing. This time I'm hoping to get out and do a little more in ports and on the ship. It was just kind of hard with a 3.5 yo and a 15 mo who just started walking the day before we left for the cruise. This time they will be 6 and 3.5 so I'm anticipating particiapting in more activities. Plus, they will both be in the Oceaneer's Club which will give DH and I more time to do our own thing on the ship.

Glad to see we're not the only people who travel with stuffed pets - only ours aren't Kitties, they're teddies, Dimples and OC. What are the kitties names, and will they be traveling with y'all again?

Not much party people here - but I'm SURE we'll find lots to do.

The kitties are Chewy too (the orange tiger) and his sister, Sadie. Yes, they will probably be with us. They are Build-A-Bear kitties and my DH says that they have more clothes than he does. I use them for photo ops and they have their own web page about their trips. Unfortunately I have to get on and update it. I don't think the PC is up yet. They have been on both the Wonder and the Magic.

Anyone else totally jazzed at the idea of stopping in Costa Rica?

I got a price from my TA for adding a third adult to our cabin...now THAT brings my $$ more in line! I'll have to work on having little sister join us. And to any of my friends who my sign up for this cruise solo...I may need to hide in your stateroom a bit for some 'quiet time'! I'll supply the BBCs.

I am very excited..I called in tonight to see if I could move my cabin any more mid-ship since I figured deposits were due today and I am very midship! They moved me to Cabin 6558!

Thanks! They actually had quite a few to choose from so I think some people have cancelled. I know I had to cancel a cabin today for a client I felt bad for them..but it just wasn't the right time.

Still keeping my fingers crossed for everyone waiting for Monday!

A couple of pics of ours... none of the BBQ though..not sure why not.

Mira Flores Locks - not sure why thispicture is so small...I will see if I can get it larger. It was a building as you entered the locks.

A storm that stalled us just before the 3rd set of locks. It was awesome! Lightning, thunder, completely fogged in..all we were missing was the Flying Dutchman to come out of the fog!

Just a bragging photo .. my DD on our vow renewal day waiting to go down to the ceremony.my DH and I renewed our wedding vows on the PC cruise. I love this photo of her because she didn't know I was taking it so there was no posing.

Our group of 20 have the 4 cabins on one side and 2 on the other side of 6558 for our Nov 15, 2009 cruise. I guess we should feel sorry for the people in that cabin during our cruise as I'm sure the kids will be going between rooms all the time. I'm on the DVC voucher so I'm in a GTY and still waiting for my room assignment.

I'm sure you'll love the location.

Shoshie, I hope you DO get to bring at least one of your bears. (Dimples votes for BearBear. She's never met a football player!)

Can someone who's been before give us newbies some idea of the order of themed nights? Usually we drive to Florida, so with flying I'm concerned with the amount of luggage that will be necessary.

Linda, there was a huge difference in the 05, and 08 sailings. The only thing that was the same for theme nights was the day of the transit the dinner menu was East meets west. Oh and of course the Pirate night. I wish they would ditch that night
