Okay very good point! Carol and i will be at WDW during that time but we'll have our computers so it should be fine.

All graphic designs for this cruise need to be submitted for poll voting no later than October 18, 2009. At this time we will post them in poll form and the design after 1 week with the most votes will win. Thank you!
 
Glad you mentioned the graphic. Anyone that wants to submit a graphic for this cruise is welcome to do so. Please PM it to me within the next few days so we can set it up in a poll to vote on. If I could have them be sunday, that would be great! Who knows, your graphic could set the mood for our cruise!!!!

Just wanted to make sure the exact wording for the theme of this cruise..I have never worked on a graphic but I might try.

Just wanted to let everyone know who has to wait till Monday to book that one of the six rooms I, and my wife booked did not pay their deposit. So if anyone wants 6515 a sidways 11B it is open now.


Thanks! I just switched my 6323 to your 6515 so I could have the steamer trunk... On such a long trip we need the extra space! My mom always overpacks!!! :rotfl:

Howdy! We are in 6511. I cancelled our cash reservation and booked on points so I have had a cabin change - we were in 6317. Super quiet area - we are in 6311 on our upcoming b2b cruises and have stayed in that cabin before. We have also been in 6507 (gee, sounds like I get around) and enjoyed that as well. But, the steamer trunk is right on target - love the extra space.

FE's - we will participate I think as well as with the SM.

I will only respond if you promise not to flame me for what some consider to be wasting money. And then, I don't know as I am home and that is at work but that old DVC website can be informational if you know where to look for things ;). If my math is right - 321 each. I hope I have enough to stay at DL for at least a night. Have not gotten that far yet in my planning as I need to get past the second son's wedding and our upcoming b2b and THEN I can work on this.

We took a tour before we purchased but can't wait - we have invited my best friend and her daughter for tonight to have a slumber party...

Linda - I did have to borrow from the following year but I would almost have had to borrow to do the cash thing and that isn't very logical to me. And, I feel better about going now as well - I am sorely afraid I would have had to cancel if we had kept the cash reservation. Now I only have to save for the bar bill and excursions. I won't get the reduced points rate if I had booked after our upcoming trips but there was no way I would have waited as I think this will fill come Monday. We have friends sailing now and she emailed me that the rebooking agent onboard said the cruise was half full now. Monday will just close the doors I bet.

Awesome, have a great time! Please post some photos when you get back. I'm hoping to be able to use our points and stay about 6 nights after the cruise if I can snag a ressie at my 7 month window!
 
I just took a much needed break from work and found the "DIS mini-navigator" from our 2005 PC cruise. It was a book put together be some of the DIS cruisers (including JenKatt and TigerFanJeff) and it was really helpful. It includes dates and times of all DIS events, birthdays, anniversaries, cabin numbers and dinner seating. It also had a seperate "teen and tween list" so some of the younger DISer could hang out together. I would be happy to put this together and print for everyone if you all think this would be helpful. It will basically be a printout of the first post on this board with additional info such as FE participants and cabin numbers, etc. That way it's one less thing everyone has to worry about writing down, remembering or packing in a suitcase. :)

Des, hope you have a wonderful weekend. Post pics when you get back because Carol and I too are hoping to snag a room for a few days after the cruise.

Dawn that would be awesome. Let us know if you need some help underwriting the printing costs on this. I got one of these when we cruised on the 11 Southern Caribbean and I still to this day reference it! That thing was/is so handy!
