From WDW to DL With Love - January 06, 2011 part 3

Speaking of wording, if there are no objections I would like to send the 4 suggestions we have thus far to Jeff to make a poll on the website for the bracelet wording. I posted last week we had 4 suggestions, no one else has offered any so I think we should get the poll going so people have time to vote and order before the deadline which I believe Tinksmom said was toward the end of October, not that far off. Does that sound okay to everyone?

I like the 1st one

I like the font on #4. As for the round logo with the ports and ship I like the second one with the palms. I love palm trees

I like number 3. I personally am not big on the wording. I really have been thinking what a big day Jan 6th is for DCL. This, in my opinion, is the day the biggest expansion of this business unit in it's history. This is the day that Fir the first time in DCL history one of their ships does not call PC home anymore. Yes the argument could be made that the Magic has been gone, but she has come home. The Wonder is leaving and looks like she won't come back and call PC home. I think the wording should recognize that. As to the acctual wording I have no clue at the moment what that wording should be. I can only think of what I suggested for the braclets. Moving day for the Wonder. That is just my opinion.

No idea on what it should say, defintely not my department.

I just talked to one of our airport agents in ARA. She highly suggested touring the island via jeep. She said it's amazing. She said De Palm Island Beach would be mainly enjoyed by little ones .... Just thoughts ....

In regards to the wording..most who suggested thought something to do with the World and the Land..so to make everything fit..here is what I have..

It just fits...I tried some variations but this is the closest I can come up with..still open to suggestions!

It will repeat around the lanyard as well.

I like 1 and 4 out of those fonts, but can you not use a Waltograph font? We had that on our last lanyard and it looks great.

I also had a suggestion for wording as I was looking at the lanyards as a souvenir and I think I personally would prefer something that really was more specific such as (sorry, I don't know what the maximum length can be)

Unfortunately, this company will not allow me to provide a font..I have to choose from thier choices but I have found them to be the most affordable ones I can find. Do you know who did the lanyards for your past cruise? i would be happy to check on it.

Your wording would fit as well but that is about the max number of letters also. I thought about WONDERing the Canal... and things like that too. I chose the wording based on our logo and other's suggestions.

Not sure if anyone is interested, but I wrote a blog about the last time I went with Disney through the Panama Canal in 2008. The itinerary is similar and I know we will do the same excursions in Cabo and Puerto Vallarta!

@poohs4me - YES! I already have the outdoor adventure booked! My Mom said she would be happy to stay on the ship and watch Peyton for me. It is a pretty intense adventure. I only wish my son was old enough to go, but I guess it will be a good excuse to go through the PC again when he is older!
