From WDW to DL With Love - January 06, 2011 part 3

Ok...so don't shoot me! Since we chose not to go with a lanyard for a FE gift...

I decided I really want a personalized lanyard for this cruise so I have been looking at the company I used for our 2008 PC cruise.

They went up a little in price but not bad.. they come to $1.50 each with the name tag holder (for those nice name tags Cardidog is making us!). They will be black with Dis-green writing.

Here is a picture of the 2008 lanyards we had made.

Sorry for the smallpicture..somewhere I have a larger one..but it's just to get the general idea of the colors. As for the saying..I'm not sure yet...the saying repeats but there are 52 character spaces.

If you are interested in ordering any - I will be happy to order them and get the money from you later. If you want them shipped to you before the cruise, I will figure out postage. To make sure we don't get allmixed up in the holiday mailing...I will make the deadline to order them .. October 21...If you have a suggestion for a saying..let me know. Also..when you order..could you let me know your cabin #. Thanks!

Is anyone staying in LA on Friday when we get back? There is only one non-stop flight back to Tampa each day, so we are going to stay overnight at the Hilton LAX hotel and leave on Saturday.

Kay, I hope you don't mind but I edited your graphic. I loved your idea and image of the circle with ports listed. I inserted a few images from milliepie (DISign thread) in the middle.

What do you all think? If you like one of them let me know, I still have a little more cleanup work to do on the images but I have a 2yo that needs to go to bed.

In 2 days, we're off to San Fran for 6 nights. I've never left DS for longer than 2 nights so I'm worried how both of us will do. They'll be with my dad, who lives with us, so I know they're in good hands. I just hope he doesn't come downstairs at night looking for me and then getting scared.

Have a great trip, I'm sure DS will be just fine. Let us know if you stop at the Disney Museum in SF, I've been trying for months to find some time to get there.

Dateline- Old Key West

Yesterday we went to Animal Kingdom. DH and BFF road Everest twice while I got FP for the Safari. I actually got a photo of them on the down slope AK was slammed - we waited over half an hour in the handicap lane for the Safari, and that was with a FP. Lunch at Pizzafari, then a FABulous Lion King show. The sky got darker and darker so we headed for the hills. lucked out on the bus. Stopped at HH for my parcels and rushed home on the ecv. By then the sky was BLACK. I Just made it under the cover of our villa when the sky opened UP. No out for laundry - it rained SO hard the water was rising and we moved stuff away from the door because we figgered it would be inside soon. Fortunately, the rain let up before that happened, but it looks not so good for the rest of our stay. I guess we'll be driving home in a deluge too. I HATE when that happens!

Thanks but all the credit should go to KayR and Milliepie. All I did was merge their images.
I updated my last post with the cleaned up images.
I'm going to try to edit my t-shirt designs in zazzle and see if they will re-instate my order with all discounts.

I like the font on #4. As for the round logo with the ports and ship I like the second one with the palms. I love palm trees

I like number 3. I personally am not big on the wording. I really have been thinking what a big day Jan 6th is for DCL. This, in my opinion, is the day the biggest expansion of this business unit in it's history. This is the day that Fir the first time in DCL history one of their ships does not call PC home anymore. Yes the argument could be made that the Magic has been gone, but she has come home. The Wonder is leaving and looks like she won't come back and call PC home. I think the wording should recognize that. As to the acctual wording I have no clue at the moment what that wording should be. I can only think of what I suggested for the braclets. Moving day for the Wonder. That is just my opinion.
