Hmmm- born and raised in Louisana so not suprised I'm mostly on the Dixie side of things but a bit shocked that I'm that low

Don't know how it came up with 33% Dixie. That's too high, in my opinion. Did the advanced test and got it down to 26%. There are some people around here who have some southern expressions, and I can always make my kids laugh by saying "crick" instead of creek, or say "I'm fixin to" do something.

I went back to play around with the test, and when I changed one answer, from garage sale to rummage sale, it went to 0% Dixie. That's better.

That was fun! With folks from the northern Midwest (North Dakota, Minnesota, South Dakota and Canada), where on earth is the 36% Dixie from?

I totally don't think this test was fair for us Californians! We aren't considered Southern and we aren't considered Yankees. What's up with that?

Tell me about it! I was all excited when the answer Soda said it was used mostly in California (in the east too? Don't remember!). And do we really say the beach is the surf? What is up with that? Oh - an everyone here says da bomb
