Hello,

Ok.
I've got my dates 3/24/07 to 3/31/07
I've got my room reservations (Shades of Green).
I've got my plane reservations (Southwest).
I've got my Cinderella Royal Table, Chef Mickey's and Luau, and Hoop Dee Do Review reservations.

Next I need is the trip from the airport and back. We have 11 people in our party. I've checked with FL Tours and they only let you have 10. I've sent an email asking how they would handle us. I've also checked on Mears. They quoted me a price of $300. Is that high? In 2002 we use a company called ********. Are they still in business? We would like to stay together. Also want to make store run on the way in.

Now I need to plan my park visits!!!

Mears for $300. is approximately the cost of a single person's round trip (about $27. last time I checked which was 2005) times eleven.

All I can think of for now is, (1) splitting up into two groups, even ten in a towncar and one on Mears, or (2) shop around to see what company "comes up with" "a specialized solution".

If you go with two towncars you will all still get to Disney (and back to the airport) at about the same time. For the 10/1 split, when the towncar makes the grocery stop, all of you will probably get to the resort at about the same time too.

OT: Most large groups find the Disney vacation more enjoyable when they are not together most of the time.

Call Murray Hill transportation and he has vans that hold 11 passengers. Probably run you about $125.00 round trip and would probably include a grocery stop if you wanted one.

and I have to say that squeezing 11 people in one of those 10 or 11 passenger vans would have been ridiculous. There simply wouldn't have been enough room for all of us and our luggage, including one stroller.

What we did was break up into 2 groups. We had 7 of us in a 10 passenger van and the other 4 of us in a towncar. We used Tiffany, and the round trip from MCO to shades of green and back was 110 for the van and 95 for the car. Much less than Mears and 100% more enjoyable. Mears for 11 would be a nightmare, in my opinion.

The car made a grocery stop, but I had sent a care package ahead and the prices in the little px for milk and juice were fine.

Tiffany has a coupon in the passporter for $8 off, which they let us use on both cars, and if you don't have a Passporter, they have a coupon on the website for $5 off per car.

I love Tiffany, they have never let us down.
