Hi, Four of us will be staying a couple days at a resort very close to SeaWorld Orlando and then are moving to one of the Universal resorts (luggage and all).

1. About how long of a drive is it from SeaWorld to Universal?

We don't do car rentals. I am trying to figure out whether or not to hire a town car or just take a taxi. I must admit, taxis make me nervous because in my experience, the drivers drive like maniacs.

2. What would you do?

Thanks!

10 minutes at most, you can either take I-4 that will get you there in 5 minutes or stick to the ground streets which will take a bit more, either way its an easy drive.

Thanks for the reply. So it looks like a taxi would be our best bet.... it looks like too short of a distance to hire a town car I guess.

If you got on I-4 from 528 just north of Sea World that is exit 72,the Universal Blvd exit on I-4 is exit 75,so three miles going that way, time wise I said 10 minutes but accounting for traffic and street lights I would say 5-10 min on I-4 and 10-15 on ground streets.

A good three hours with no traffic....

Just kidding! Its a quick 10 minute drive.:cool1:

Thanks for the replies. I'm pretty sure I'll just brave it with a taxi then and hope the driver isn't a reckless speed demon. ;)

According to taxifarefinder, the trip is about 6.5 miles and will take about 13 minutes at a cost of about $25 with tip. Tolls and surcharges may apply

Thanks for your reply. That's still about half the cost that a town car would be.
