Brooklynn certainly did have a very big day. Very long, very tiring, but very fun. She stayed at her school last night until 10:30, because Jill had to lock the building after Parents' Night Out. She was zonked asleep when they brought her in the house. She woke up early this morning and had a wonderful time playing with her friends at the party this afternoon. She needs to get a good long sleep tonight.

She had a nice group of friends from school and church, and they loved climbing up and sliding down the waterslide. Bella was right in the middle of it all, too. Climbing is one of her favorite activities.

We will have pictures. Trent, Tanya, Jarvis, Spencer, and I came on home around 7. Trent drove my car, and it gave the two of us some one-on-one time, which I very much enjoyed. Jarvis and Spencer said Tanya slept the whole way back. They have gone to Brandon's now to play the Wii. (Brandon wasn't able to come to the party today.)

Jill and crew will be coming up here in the morning. They were going to come tonight, but one of the families called a few minutes after they left the party and said their car had broken down. John and his dad went to help, and Jill went to pick up the mom and her daughter so that they could come back to the house and stay inside and cool while they worked. They ended up having the car towed, so Jill and John loaned them one of their cars for the rest of the weekend. By the time they got all of that settled, it was late, so she called and said they'd just sleep at home and come tomorrow. That will be better for the girls, anyway. They have long been asleep now, I'm sure.

Brooklynn got a lot of fun presents - Toy Story, Barbie, jewelry, clothes. She loved it all. She got a box from Wigd and Shocker. She was thrilled. Bella loved her baby, too, and said 'baby' over and over and over.

Time for some sleep now. Tomorrow we'll have a beach party, since everyone didn't get to go to WDW together this summer. Drew is in Ohio this weekend, but he said he'll either be back late tonight or tomorrow morning. I hope he will be here in time to eat lunch with us.

We are showing Brooklynn all of the Happy Birthday wishes, and she gets this silly grin on her face every time. Her actual birthday is Monday, but to a kid, the party itself is the birthday.

I've thought about all my Beach Club loving DIS friends a lot this week as I have thought about today's meal. Wouldn't it be great to be at Beach Club today?!?!? I'm a fan of that place myself.

Today we will be eating at Beaches and Cream. If I had fifty bucks, I would be buying a really awesome pool for the girls that Target has that reminds me of the Polynesian. It has a volcano and a tiki god on it. When I saw it, I was hoping it was half price. I could justify $25, but not $50. It is cool, though. Our Stormalong Bay will probably be a tub of sand and a bucket of water. They'll still have fun.

Thanks to all who have wished Brooklynn a Happy Birthday. She is enjoying all of the attention and the gifts. She will love playing with all of her new things for a long time to come. She was very excited about a couple of dishes/tea party sets she got. She loves to play with things like that.

A bucket of sand and some water will make a great Stormalong Bay! What's on the menu for lunch today? I figure if we leave now, we will make it in time to eat!

Wow, sounds like Brooklynn had a fun packed birthday weekend! My aunt's birthday is on Monday too. Maybe I shall bake a cupcake in honor of both of their birthdays.

MeMom came down Friday night after school. She watched Bella while John and I dropped Brooklynn off at school for Parent's Night Out and ran a few last minute errands. While Brooklynn was at school playing with friends I finished making her cake.

Saturday morning we were all up bright and early with a list of things to get done before the party.

At some point in time during the morning a box was delivered to the house. We don't know when it came or who answered the door for it, it was just all the sudden in the middle of the floor. We all passed by it several times before John asked what the box was and where it had from. Upon closer inspection we saw the return address of Derby, Kansas. It was a box from Mrs. Anita Wigd. Brooklynn couldn't wait to open it. Inside were several Toy Story toys and card games which were immediately set around as decoration for the party. There were also 3 wrapped gifts - 2 with Ariel stickers for Brooklynn and 1 with a Belle sticker for Bella.

She was so excited with her Baby Ariel and Little Mermaid tea set.

Bella got to open her present when she woke up from her nap.

Not long after that Bubby arrived!!!!

We had to get a picture of the whole crew with the 3D glasses Anita had sent.

Brooklynn went ahead and opened the present from the whole gang. She got Buttercup the unicorn, a princess coloring set and her absolute favorite Jessie and "Pullseye."

Then it was time for cake

Brooklynn and her two BFFs, Presley and Lillian. They have been in the same class together since they were 16 months old.

There was a breeze so she blew out the candle and then sang to her.

Goody bags were distributed.

After all her friends had gone she opened her gifts.

She had a fabulous party and was completely wiped out!
