From my visit 3/2 - 3/7 .... Does FP even exist anymore??

And The point I am making is that it's NOT the 1-15 minute wait anymore like it was before the last 3 years!

It was mostly walk on to 15 minutes wait for the FP line when I was when I went 1/29-2/4/17. The only ones slightly longer where FEA and RnR, but not by much. Plus, we did a lot of rides over and over by booking a FP+ as soon as scanning to enter the line.

So, my guess is that the week you went was busier than expected. I am going in June and expect waits and crowds to be double my earlier trip even though I have been that time before and it was not that bad then.

We were there inJune last year, and for the most part FP was good, though it took just under an hour for both my husband and I (separately) to get through Splash Mountain. When I got off the ride the queue for FP went up the hill and around the curve. It wasn't a ride breakdown either and I can't imagine one person's band doing that (though the FP line there is horribly set up). That was a 9 day at the parks though.

Splash is a bit of a different bird on length it takes because the ride itself is so long. What is it, 15 min? So 1 hour for 2 people to ride isn't quite as bad as 1 hour for 2 people to ride say, 7DMT, which is less than 2 min.

Our trip overlapped with yours, we had a few experiences with longer than usual Fastpass lines, the longest wait was at TOT where the CM said that they had been down to one elevator in operation. As a result they were holding the standby line until the Fastpass line was down to a more normal wait time. There was also a longer than usual wait at the Safari in AK, not sure why but they were similarly holding the standby line (when we were going in we asked the CM if we should just do standby because the line looked shorter than the Fastpass line and she told us not to do that because the line was going to be held and things would adjust pretty quickly). People generally kept their cool and the lines worked out fine.

IDK one post OP says you can see how long its going to be and the next that CM's were quoting times....

Both!! I can guestimate and the CM were giving out wait times!!

And this is why the number of guests/length of FP line, is a bad way to determine wait times. They move the FP guests at the expense of stand by
