Looking to get my son and his bride from Ireland to JFK (cause they alread have those tix) to Orlando. It would be NOv 20th, and their flight from Ireland is suppose to land at 5:45 PM. It's usually on time..but we have to give them enough time for customs, etc.

So, my question is, what planes fly to Orlando (or Sanford, if it isn't much further) from JFK..in the late evening? I've already looked at Song and Jet Blue. Any others? Wish SW flew out of JFK : (

Thanks for any info.

AFAIK Delta (Song) and Jet Blue are the only N/S. You ought to call Jet Blue and ask them how many hours to allow. There going to have to take the airtrain (monorail) to go from the international arrivals terminal to the jet blue terminal. Check on the standby policies, you might book them on a late flight and have them standby for an earlier flight.

I checked the schedule, it looks like you'll have to book the 9:05 flight and if they miss it stay in a hotel airport. I'd think they'd make it unless their flight is delayed.

What am I doing wrong? The latest flight I can find on November 20th is 5:30 pm. Thanks

Doris--I originally didn't have your date, I just checked a current date, 11/20 shows a 9:10 flight. It looks like it's the only flight that'll work. Normally I display the flights by price, in this case I had them displayed by schedule. Makes it easier to find the flight. If you can't move the flight from Ireland (different airport or time) you might as well book the 9:10 flight. I'd think the 7:00 flight would be cutting it much too close.

Aer LIngus doesn't fly direct into Orlando..and I'm pretty sure they can't change without penalty. Thanks

Hah! they should have taken the Boston flight instead of the JFK one. On Aer Fungus ;) the tix are about the same price to Boston as JFK, but Jet Blue leaves right from the same terminal. But then again, the flight from Shannon gets into Boston at 3PM which would put them on the 6:30PM Jet Blue to MCO, likely plenty of time to clear immigrations and customs, have a snack and hop airlines.

You might get better connections out of Boston or BWI (SW). I don't think I'd pay a penalty to change.
