From HGVC to WDW? Hassle?

I'm in a dilemma....thinking of staying at HGVC 7/5 & 7/6 then moving to WDW since we are doing Discovery Cove on 7/6. After checkin 7/5 mid morning is there shuttle from HGVD to get to WDW by 4:00 that same day and get back to HGVC by maybe 8:00? thanks for replies!

I'm not quite sure I understand your question--if it's "Is 4 hours long enough to get to WDW, do something and get back to the HGVC", I guess the answer is yes, though it depends on what you want to do in WDW. We stayed at HGVC last Nov/Dec. and made the trek to WDW several mornings and a couple of evenings. The resort is located right off of I-4 (though not overlooking it--LOL!!) and we never encountered any traffic on the highway. The signs were clearly marked all the way into WDW. I'd say it took us about 15-20 min from HGVC to WDW.

If you wanted to go into a park, your time might be a bit limited, if you factor in parking, entrance/exit time, etc. But you should have plenty of time to have a resort meal or visit DTD.
