1st Question - I am making plans for our family to go to WDW and I know we will be renting a DVC resort but I don't know which pass to get. It is between the UPH and LOSP. WE want to be able to do whatevr different parks we can when we want to.

Only my Dh has been there but neither I or our four children (23 months, 4, 8, 11)have ever. We will be going the first week of September with arriving there on Labor day and leaving that Friday so 5 days oin the parks with a late start on Monday. We will be driving down and meeting my two sisters and their Boyfriends and also bringing my brother with us in the car.

2nd questions - I will be there for my birthday and wwill be sure to tell them so I can get my pin but my DS will turn 2 shortly after and I want to know if it would be wrong to tell the it is his brithday too!! (No flames please??!!) I know that it is morally wrong but we were supposed to be there for his birthday but my brother and sisters couldn't make it those days. Is it wrong?? We are only missing it by a few days and I'm sure he would love having everyone know he is turning 2. Honest answers please?? What would you do??

I have my guide books and know what we will be spending but we want to make it extra special for all our kids.

3rd Question - Do you think that the barbershop will believe us that my DS (who ill be 4 1/2 at the time) is getting his first haircut?? It will be true and I can bring photo's of him youngert to prove it but I want them to make it extra special for him. he didn't even have hair on his head until he turned 2 and now his little brother has the same amount as him and they will both be doing their firts haircuts here. They still do that special certificate for the 1st haircuts right?

Thank you so much!! These boards have helped me so much in my planning. They are the best !!! :earseek:

I wouldn't worry about a couple of days difference for your son's birthday. Actually how many times do you actually have your kids' birthday party on the actual birthday date? I would celebrate it at WDW and let him have the time of his life.

The first trip can make you kind of nervous, but I'm sure you'll have the time of your life and make a lifetime of wonderful memories. Have fun.

Simply say you are celebrating your son's birthday. No lie, nothing to debate. Choose a specail activity for each of you and be sure to let them know. A character meal for the little one would be perfect. Disney will not question what you tell them. just say they are both getting their first haircuts. Enjoy and relax.

Sounds like you've got a great trip planned, have a wonderful time!

We'll be going as a family for our 4th trip the second week of October..........my oldest DD will be truning 11 on Halloween, but we will definitely get the pin on our last day in MK to celebrate........she may never get to do that again, as we usually travel to WDW at other times during the year. We have never done the "Not So Scary Halloween Party", so I am definitely planning on that experience, as once again, it may be a once in a lifetime chance to experience that while my 2 DD are young! Not sure how difficult it is to ge tickets to that event, though.......does anyone have info on that??

You'll LOVE your 1st trip!! The Magic is strongest the 1st time! Try not to get too stressed over the plans, and simply enjoy the magic moments!!
