From Christmas Eve through today..

Did you or any of your family/friends get stranded anywhere due to the snowstorms?

If so, where - and for how long?

I caught a little bit on the Weather Channel today - bad roads; cancelled flights; Amtrack shut down; etc.. Sounds like serious business..

Anyone get stranded down at Disney and unable to get home?

I don't know if this would constitute getting stranded, but I took my little niece and nephew home with me Christmas night for a sleepover and they stayed until today. (not that I minded one bit)

My sil and nieces are at my MIL's house in NJ where we are. (poor bil stayed home sick) We were supposed to see them yesterday, didn't want to try to get out today since they were having so much trouble on the roads, and now we will go see them for lunch tomorrow so they can head back to VA tomorrow evening or first thing Wed morning. They probably would have gone back today if we saw them yesterday.

I'm in MA at my parents' house for Christmas and was supposed to head back to NY yesterday. I will be going tomorrow morning. Really not a bad situation at all... I've loved having the extra two days here!


Worst story I've heard though...
One of the stage managers on the show I work on (in NY) left the theater last night at around 10:20pm, probably. She got on an express bus to Staten Island and got off the bus around noon today. I can't even imagine!! I'm just thanking God that she didn't have her baby daughter with her, who is often at the theater on weekends.

That's horrible!!! My friend went to a Broadway show last night and was stranded in Penn Station but somehow managed to get a hotel room so she had a great time, lol.

We drove from Myrtle Beach, SC to NJ and the 95 was clear all the way. We left Sunday about 1 and drove to Richmond, VA and stayed the night. Today we left Richmond at 8 and got to NJ about 2.

We weren't suppose to leave until Mon. morning but left earlier. I was really surprised how well 95 was all the way up.

I was stuck in a cubicle for 9 hours today! Egads!
