To get back to POP, you could either walk through EPCOT (if you have a parkhopper and it's still open) and catch a bus at the front of the park or take a bus to DTD and transfer to a POP bus.
If it is too late or you are tired after dinner, you could ask the valet staff to get you a taxi back to POP. Sometimes it is faster and less stressful than making the transfers. It shouldn't be too expensive either.
If HS is still open you could catch the boat from the Yacht Club/Beach Club to HS and then take the bus from HS to POP. This isn't necessarily the quickest but it is better than having to walk all the way through Epcot and it doesn't require having a Park Hopper since you wouldn't actually be entering into HS. It would be quicker than going to DTD though.
From AK to Yachtsmen board the bus to that resort. The way you worded your question I wasn't sure if you knew this part.
Then as OP said ride the boat from Y&BC to the Disney Studios. Catch your POP bus there, the buses should still be operating as long as you are within an hour of park closing. Plus if it's an EMH-night at DHS they will be running even later. Try not to arrive right at park closing or when Fantasia is letting out or you may get stuck on a crowded bus
If time permits, before taking the boat over to the studios, maybe you'll want to check out the boardwalk area &/or walk past the Swan Resort over to Fantasia Golf for a round of mini-golf.
