They can't get anything right up north!
The US Treasury has announced they are recalling the new Michigan quarters.

"We are recalling all of the new Michigan quarters that were recently issued", Treasury Undersecretary Russell Shackleford said in a press conference on Friday. "This comes in the wake of numerous reports to this agency that the quarters will not work in parking meters, toll booths, vending machines, pay phones or other coin operated devices. We believe the problem lies in a design flaw", said Shackleford.
The winning design for the Michigan quarter was submitted by the Michigan Quarter Commission.

Apparently, the duct tape holding the two dimes and a nickel together keeps jamming the coin-operated devices !!

Been a Bucks fan since I was a small child. Kept the kids up to 1AM watching the National Championship (since we hadn't had one since I was 5, thought they might not see another one for a long, long time!). I'm worried about this game, but always loyal. GO BUCKS!!

For your sake I hope it is the Alamo bowl. For MY sake I hope it is the Motor City bowl up here that the Spartans go too. <G> My youngest son is a student up at MSU and the thought of having to pay to send him to Texas instead of 20 miles up the road to Ford Field during the holidays worries my wallet!
