We were all set to go on a non-Disney driving vacation to save some money this year. But the Disney bug bit.
It all started in the spring, when my parents talked about taking my family and my sister's family to WDW for their 40th anniversary. Well, that fell through because of my sister.
A few months later, DW's aunt and uncle talked about letting some of the relatives stay at their house in The Villages for a couple weeks and doing WDW. Well that just fell through.
After all the ups and downs of going to Disney, not going to Disney, we decided to forget them all and go ourselves! We're driving from Wisconsin for the first time. We're staying at the All Star Sports and we booked the free QS dining plan. We figure with the free dining, it's really not that much more than what we would have paid for a non-Disney driving vacation.
So 61 more days until we (myself, DW and DS5) arrive at WDW on August 15th for 8 nights! And we're hoping we can get on Toy Story Mania on the last day before it closes for rehab.
