Is there anyone who uses a frio wallet to carry insulin in the parks?
Our son is type 1 and on a pump (omni pod) but we will not be staying on site so I feel we need to carry his insulin with us just in case.
I would like to know if #1 it keeps the insulin cool enough in August FL heat, #2 if we can carry it in a backpack (is that breathable enough) and #3 can we re-wet it in a cup of water or does it have to be flat?
We have always just used a cooler when we travel since he has had diabetes but that won't really work for our Fl trip, I don't think. Thanks for any advice
