Fright factor - BTMRR vs. Matterhorn

Which ride is scarier? I've been on BTMRR but that's about as brave I get when it comes to rides. Never been on Matterhorn but considering it if its on par with BTMRR. Be honest! If its a lot scarier tell me now!!!

I'd say if anything the Mattorhorn is tamer then BTMRR.

I would consider the rides to be very similar in their "thrill" level, although they have very different feels to them. IMO, Matterhorn is best experienced in the most forward seating position, while BTMRR is best near the rear of the train.

What about drops? Are there roller coaster type drops inside the Matterhorn?

No - in fact, there isn't a single Disney coaster with any meaningful negative gravity.

There are bigger "drops" on the BTMMR then on the Matterhorn.

I'm so shocked and surprised at the responses! And disappointed in myself for avoiding this ride for so long thinking it was too scary! What exactly does this ride do inside the mountain?

It twists and turns and at a couple spots, "Harry" the snow monster roars at you.
