Friendship Boats running between Deluxe Resorts

Are the friendship boats finally running between the Deluxe Resorts in MK area? I always like to be able to take the boat from BLT to WL. Thanks

The Resort Launches for the MK area resorts have been running for a while now.

FYI, they are not called Friendship Boats.

They do provide a very friendly passage from one resort to another, however!

As Sandisw said, the boats are only running from the resorts to MK. DW and I were staying at WL for our honeymoon and booked dinner reservations at all the other MK resorts and had to go to MK and then transfer boats to go to the individual resorts.

No boats between CR/BLT and WL/FW
MK boats running to WL and FW (separate boats).

MK to Poly and MK to GF were also separate boats when we were riding. That surprised some of the people on our boat from Poly that were intending to stay on board to get to their ADR at GF.

Side note: the captain of our little launch from the Poly must have been a Jungle Cruise skipper in a previous life. Very punny guy. Made for a most enjoyable ride.

You could have used monorail except for the Polynesian Resort.

Actually did both! I preferred the Monorail but DW like the boats and being on the water

I know that I heard the boats in Epcot Resort area called, Friendship Boats, I could have sworn that the term was used through out WDW for the boats between resorts. I guess I am mistaken. My bad.

That’s what we would do too. I love taking the boat to dinner.

At MK, red flagged boats go between the Wilderness Lodge and MK, green flagged boats go to the campground, and gold flagged boats go between MK and the Poly and Grand. The blue flag was used for the Contemporary to Lodge to Campground route, which is currently not running.

Indeed the boats within EPCOT are running, as well as those connecting the EPCOT area resorts. I liked the term “friendship boat” so I thought it would be friendly to share this happy picture today.
