Many Dis people put the word "dis" in their room descriptions. When you click on Guest Rooms from the world map, do a search on the popular rooms for dis.
You'll get a lot of responses with "disney," "discover," etc. but you may find a room with a Dis peep or three in it. I try to keep "Dis" in my signature so that if see a Dis'er I don't know, they will see the sig. I also put "Dis" in my room descriptions unless it's an "AFK" room.
Which brings me to a question I've had for a bit and was going to start a separate thread on it, but it ties in to this one so.....

What should the protocol be for Dis'ers on asking for a friend list addition. Typically, if I see a Dis person I haven't had the opportunity to put on my friend list, I just go ahead and click "ask to be a friend."
Sometimes I get befriended, sometimes not. Now, people I don't know or who do not have Dis in their sig makes me tend to not accept and then explain to the asker that I would like to get to know them first, but by default, a "Dis" sig makes me quick to accept, and quick to ask as I love the camaraderie we all have together and more friends is better!
But should we be asking first in chat? Should we ask first in a trade window maybe? Or, if a Dis, click away and promise to not get our feelings hurt if it's not accepted (many have full friend lists, many have different preferences on accepting, etc.).
We can move this to a new thread if need be, I just thought this might help Chloe and everybody else who wants to be a part of the Dis fun on VMK.
