I'm not one to break rules, so I was wondering IYHO's I thought Id ask you crazy Disney pool hopper people!! :goodvibes My bestest friend in the whole world is staying at the POFQ the same time we are (only shes getting there the night before us.) We are staying at the AKL. We are going to have a pool day the day we get there, and decided maybe we can have our pool day together, would it be acceptable to goto POFQ so our kids could play together and vica versa? I don't want to be flamed:laughing: but I know im going to hear it!! :rotfl: I'm just wondering is this an acceptable thing to do? we are both staying on property and both have a hotel in either resort. What do you all think?? Criticism welcome!!

If you want a pool day together, you should plan on swimming together at either of Disney's waterparks.
They are great fun & your kids will have a blast.
Pool hopping to the different resorts is not allowed unless you are DVC members.

I thought about that too, we just didnt want to waste a day on the PH. Im sure thats what well end up doing, or maybe even go to pleasure island! does anyone know if they still do the magazine cover pictures?? Thatd be fun!! :cool1:

Even DVC members aren't allowed to pool hop to AKL pool.

I have read posts where some people suggested asking the hotel front desk about your situation. If they say it is okay, then it is okay. The official policy is obviously not to pool hop, and believe me I despise pool hoppers (esp at the Poly...ok OT), but I have read that some people have asked and been given permission. IMOH, if you ask, and they say it is okay, then who are we to say it isn't. Not sure when you are going, but with AKL moving out so many people in July/August due to construction, they may allow it. Who knows?

Actually, you have to purchase the water park option on your Magic Your Way Ticket in order to go to the water parks. The water parks do not count as a Park for admission or hopping purposes. :)
