Yep. I've been in the Outlook at a different time of day and saw copies of "As Bill Sees It" out. My grandfather was a long-time friend of Bill W. I do believe he actually met him a few times. In person. Like shaking hands -n- stuff. In my grandfather's obit there was a nod to Bill W. and friends. That's how I know. I've always thought it was really awesome that this is a schedule staple.
I will say that that's a Tervis tumbler, with nothing in it. It just looks like Duff beer. (got it at Universal Orlando for those wanting it) I won't let my son use the tumbler in the car, LOL. Just doesn't look right.
Given that the environment of a cruise ship is what it is, and given that especially for people just in sobriety, the ability to go to meetings is vitally important (many rehab programs require thirty meetings in thirty days as part of the discharge from the facility, so it's especially important if someone is cruising within that time frame). I think that the ships realize the importance of it, particularly given that a large part of their income comes from bars, even those sober for years could really feel the need for meetings on an environment like a cruise ship even more (think about it, it's pretty easy to find a way to avoid bars and people drinking pretty freely in real life - but on vacation, especially on a cruise ship where you're contained in an environment with little escape save from retreating to your cabin). I applaud them for doing it.
